CREATING BOOKS

Tikatok

Tikatok allows you to write, illustrate and publish your own book. Illustrations can be drawings or photos.
The book can be viewed online or printed and mailed to you. It also allows others to see and comment on your book. An example of a book created with Tikatok is here.

Storybird is a new site for creating books online. It is still in beta and hopes to allow printing of their books soon. You can watch a video about the creative possibilities it allows here.

SPELLINGS

Spelling City

Spelling City is an excellent way to practice spelling lists. Type in your spelling words, and the site will generate ten games to help you practice them. It will also "teach" you the words by saying them aloud, spelling them aloud and using them in a sentence for you. It will also test you to see if you have learned them.
